Over the last couple of days, seas around the island have been locally rough with waves peaking at 8 feet. Rough seas are accompanied by brisk winds which will adversely affect small craft operations and cause difficulty for sea bathers. Vessels docked at their various locations may be damaged if not secured properly. Conditions will persist during the next 24 hours.
