A trough system east of the Lesser Antilles is expected to affect the island.

Excessive river and ravine flooding is ongoing across eastern communities, resulting in flooding and ponding of low-lying bridges and streets, increased turbidity of streams and rivers, and the potential for landslides and falling rocks in vulnerable areas. Residents, motorists and pedestrians, especially across eastern communities, should avoid crossing flooded roads, bridges, rivers and ravines. Do not drive or walk through flood waters. Move to higher ground if necessary, remain alert for landslides and falling rocks, and continue to monitor official updates from the Dominica Meteorological Service.
